When transferring a large file, I get an error message saying that “the disk in the destination drive is full...” , but my disk is not full. Why can’t I transfer this file?

1. Please check the file format of your JetDrive Go.

2. Please check the size of the file you wish to transfer. FAT16 has a maximum file size limit of 2GB while FAT32 has a maximum file size limit of 4GB.  

If you wish to transfer a file larger than 4GB, we suggest reformatting the device to NTFS, exFAT or HFS.

 

Note: iPhone, iPad and iPod support FAT32 or exFAT file format
